Christmas Obsession (not dancing with the stars but).....

I haven't done any Christmas posts because I've been in California since the 23rd of November to spend Thanksgiving and help my sister during  her 2nd  knee replacement surgery which she had on December 2nd.  She had the other knee done this time last year, I was out here then too. What that means for me is that I have a lot of Christmas decorating and shopping to do when I get home! I do have my tree up but not decorated and my garland is also up. That's all I was able to get done before I left.  I'm flying home on Saturday, the 12th.  Now, I'm going to tell you about my latest Christmas obsession!  One of my BFs, Marsha, friends since the 7th grade, showed me the dancing elves video she made using  her family members.  I had seen one a few years ago but had forgotten all about them.  I loved it so much, I couldn't make just one, I had to make 3! It seems I can never stop at just one of anything, do I need therapy?  When Marsha was visiting, we had that very discussion about our collecting habits.  Could I have just 1 puppy planter, no.....and I'm not telling how many I have!  Same with my ironstone collection etc.  What does that mean.....well, I think I'm normal.... I'll leave that for you to decide!

To get you started, here's a photo of my favorite vintage elves that are from our Christmas's starting back in the 60's

In January, if you don't buy them, they disappear.  My plan was to
buy them but I forgot and now they've gone! I'm very sad, but then again,
there's always next year!

Each video is pretty short, so it won't take that long to
watch all three.  The videos according to the web site
will stay up till January 1st unless you purchase them
for $1.99 each.
(Be sure to turn up your volume a little for the music and click on the link)

Once I get home, I may not be able to post again till after Christmas
depending on how much time it takes me to get ready for the big day.
I'm really going to try and not to get stressed, just get done what I want,
not worry about the rest and just enjoy the holiday with these 2 cuties!

Kailyn, 3 and Sarah who turned 1 on December 8th!
Is time going flying by or is it just me?

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Till next time.......
Rebecca

This week I'll be partying with:

Hi Rebecca! My mom had a knee replacement last year, I helped her during recovery. I'm amazed at how fast she got back to normal. I hope you can get caught up at home without much stress. Those babies are precious! You have your priorities right! :-) Have a great weekend!

We discovered the dancing elves (and many others) a few years ago and had lots of laughs watching them, too. You are so kind to help out your sister during her recovery, and I hope you got to soak up a little sun while you were there! Your little granddaughters are absolutely precious and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

Love the vintage ornaments, too!

Rebecca, what a sweet sister you are! I bet you sis loved having you there. We played with the dancing elves a couple years ago and I loved them as well. I was able to view one and it made me laugh. I think you are normal, because I am the same way; and I certainly am normal. lol! At least I keep telling myself that I am. The two little ones are simply darling! Happy New Year!
hugs,
Jann
