Cape Cod

Last April, my sister and I took my dream trip to New England!  We met in Boston, her from CA and me from TN.  We spent the week driving up the coast and stopping where we wanted on our way to our goal of ending up in Bar Harbor Maine!  It was still a little cold and overcast, spring had not quite arrived and the "summer season" wouldn't start for another week and a half on May1st, but it was still beautiful! This post is of our visit to Cape Cod and some of the gorgeous houses and cottages we saw along with a beautiful cranberry bog.  More of our trip will come later!

Below our some of the TINY cottages for rent during the season at the very tip of Cape Cod.
They were adorable, they all were named after flowers and so small I don't know how you could fit a family in them but I guess people do!

Hope you enjoyed your tour of some of the beautiful homes on Cape Cod!

Till next time.....

I love the Cape Cod style homes and how the owners add bright colors! We were in Bar Harbor, ME in the beginning of Sept. of 2014. I loved the island and the busy harbor town!

Hello Rebecca! So nice of you to stop by my blog... how cool is it to have "met" someone else who went to the DWTS Live Tour. :)

And how exciting that Shawn Johnson and M. Waltrip were there, too!

Love the idea of your trip to New England...I need a fun trip like that about now. My hubby and I traveled around Maine a lot and loved it.

this sounds like exactly the kind of trip my sister and I would love and then stay in one of those little "flower" houses. :) Happy happy New Year

Great post, Rebecca! I have to keep reminding myself how pretty the houses are here when I am looking at 18 inches of snow! The Cape is only a half hour away so hopefully if you come back we can meet for lunch! Enjoy the rest of your week!
