Visiting Hylabrook Antique Mall

If you're wondering, I'm still alive and kickin!  One thing led to another and I've ended up taking  an unplanned blog break!  Time has just flown by, a lot has been going on so I've been a bit side tracked!  My middle son has moved home from NC, he finished up his 4 year tour in the Air Force and is now home for good.  He will officially be out in June but had enough leave saved up to get out a month early.  Now, all I need to do is make room for his apt full  of furniture ( arriving in 2 days) which will involve some sort of magic trick on my part to make it all fit in my garage!  There is other exciting news that has also been keeping me busy  but that can wait for another time!  In the meantime, here are some pics of the antique mall where a friend and I have a space.

I've been to Hylabrook! Last year I bought an old horse stirrup and a pink Depression glass bowl. Great spot for a booth.

How exciting! Back in the biz! And is that a red cross quilt I spotted in one of the photos?! Looks like a fabulous place to have a booth. I'm sure you'll have so much fun shopping for new/old merchandise!

Welcome home to your son.

So are you happy to have him home, or are you already helping him look for apartments to rent? :o)

Hi Rebecca- long time no see!
I've been absent from my blog, too.
I'm thrilled to hear that your son has returned home safely and that you'll be able to throw your arms around him whenever you please.
Love the space and I especially love the tan suit. I bought a table from a local lady that has the chocolate label on it. You know how I love my chocolate. I've found some great things over the past couple of months. Will share in the fall.
Hugs, Tina

I'd take you up on the support group thing (haha) but I'm afraid it would take away all your 'fun' !!! :D
