That time of the Month....

This past weekend I got to once again go to the Flea Market.  This time my daughter Kate went with me so we not only got in some shopping but also a little Mom, daughter bonding time.  We had a lot of fun and I did manage to find a few things but not a lot of what I was looking for.  Surprisingly there were less vendors there then last month.   I think it will be getting back to normal in the next couple of months once the weather warms up.  Kate was totally embarrassed that I was taking pics of people's stuff and would walk off like she didn't know me when I started snapping pics.  It was pretty funny, she just doesn't get it!  Here is some of the cool stuff that was there this month!

These last three lamps were made by our friend John, he had a space in our old store and makes the coolest lamps!  These 3, the tool box, the metal gear, and the globe were my favorites!

Till next time......

Hi Rebecca,
I'm guilty of taking photos at flea markets too...your daughter wouldn't like shopping with me either. But what's a blogger to do, right? Usually I ask the dealer if they mind but sometimes I just tuck the camera under a big scarf and go for it!
Loved this post,
Cheryl

Enjoyed the visit. Love your FK. I've been collecting for years. Fell in love with the color. If you have time, pop over to my blog and go to the very bottom, it's an old picture of my FK collection. I've since added the ball pitcher and demitasse cups and saucers. Will be back.

I went to a flea market this weekend with my mom too. It wasn't nearly as cool as yours!!! I got some good junk like old flatware and a few old ball jars. I wish there was more of the big stuff like you show here.
Thank you for linking this up with the "Cowgirl Up!" linky party. I appreciate your participation so much. Don't forget...the party starts again tonight!

I'm so glad you got some momma-daughter time with Kate! Even if she was a little embarrassed of you.. ;o) At least she wasn't with you when you got stopped by the lady accusing you of taking pictures of her house. ;o) It could be worse...

I love taking pics at fleas! I learned my lesson though-- I got yelled at once, so I always ask for a business card and say I'm going to post it to my blog nad credit them back and then they are usually ok w/ it! andrea@townandprairie
