Adiction......

I know a lot of you have lots of different collections as do I.  I love everything I collect, it makes me happy seeing them around the house.  My question is, can we ever have to many?  How often do we  come to a point where we just know it's enough and stop or when we come upon "one more", do we just have to have it?  That, my dears is the million dollar question!  ( In reading this back, it sounds so serious but in reality, it's just a bit of fun pondering)!

For me, there are those things that I can say OK, enough but then there are others that I just can't pass up!
Do I need therapy, do I need to go to rehab, or do I just need to go cold turkey?  Or, should I just shake it off and enjoy the things I love that make a house my home!

Till next time........
Rebecca

I'm looking for a clean, big old coffee pot with the coffee ground basket inside...to be used over an open fire when we camp...have you got a big one? Mel

Ok, I have looked everywhere for an old vintage scale, and I am dying for one of those white pictures to put some sunflowers in! Just look at all of these you have. I am coming by your place when I am back in Nashville!!!!

Love your doggies! I think as long as you continue to enjoy the hunt for treasures and the actual treasure itself once you have found one, then go on with it!

Well now you may not want my opinion, as I have amassed quite the collection of lamps, pillows, mirrors and chairs. I think your collections add charm and an insight into your personality - enjoy them!

I think there is a thin line between collecting and insanity and I know I have crossed over but you on the other hand have such order in your collection. Your going to be just fine. I love your suitcases and esp. your ironstone collection. I think a collection displayed orderly can be a work of art. Visiting from Southern Hosp. drop by for a visit. Kathy

LOL! I don't know the answer to 'can we have too much?' I have an addiction to silver, old silverplate or silver dinnerware. Cannot pass it by. I have restricted myself from going to places I know I might see some! LOL! Thank you so much for stopping by. I'll be following along your adventures! blessings ~ tanna

Great collections and I say make your house the home you love...and if, later, you find you have too much...open a shop, consign your things or have a yard sale. :) Enjoy!

You have some great collections and I think it's "too much" when you can't display them nicely and they just accumulate with no sense of where they belong.

As long as they have a place and are nicely displayed, you don't have a problem . . . LOL!

I love collections! As far as collections go, I'd say, one particular spot/cabinet, bookshelf is great. If you feel like you will overflow, you can always make it your rule for everyone you add, you need to give one away. This way, you can spread a little piece of what is special to the people you love, too.
