A Horse is a Horse of Course........

I thought I'd share one of my favorite design books with you.  It's called Equestrian Style, by Vicky Moon, and shows beautiful rooms decorated with wonderful equestrian inspired elements along with all the different aspects of  the sports involving horses such as racing, polo, hunting, etc.  The photos in the book are wonderful.  Below is a sampling of some of my favorites.  ( Sorry about the glare on  the photos I took of the pages, but I think you will get the idea)!

Till next time......

LOVE this (of course! ;-) Reminds me a bit of Ralph Lauren. There is an antique mall called Catty Wampus in downtown Centralia that has a vendor upstairs who features items a lot like that style! She always has a few horse things, boots, and lots of silver, elegant and rustic things. Her booths is one of my favorites!
Have a happy week!

Like a teenage girl all over again!!

I'm lovin it. Didn't get a chance to go to the book store the other day when I was in town (had 10 year old with me), nough said, huh.

I am going to a friend's house tonight (Tonia-I have shown pics of her house before). I will take some photos and show soon. She is changing a room to equestrian style decor, and I love it! She bought an equestrian decorating book, and she has been cutting pics out of it! Can you believe that. She did some silouhettes by cutting pics out of her book. I would have never thought of that. I still want your boots and hat that you have on your blog too! I am going to get me a book too, not to cut to pieces, tho. LOL you would just have to know Tonia. She is a true blonde, but the girl can decorate!

Oh, I love this sneak peek; thank you. Between this and the Ralph Lauren post, I'm feeling the need to wonder into the RL store. It's perfection! xo
