Vintage Thingie....

Today I'm going to show you one of my favorite yard sale finds.  It's a little bit industrial, has wheels which I love and best of all, it was only $3.00!  That it's my favorite color of flaky green paint, just makes it that much better!  It's very narrow and has a wood top which was very light so I dry brushed it with a couple of different colors of paint and love the way it turned out.  I use it in my guest bath which is very small, narrow and serves as a pathway from the back entry  to the laundry room.  Since it is so narrow, this little "thing" fits perfectly against the wall and holds my old sewing machine drawers, (yardsale,$2.00) that I use as a magazine holder without hindering the flow between rooms.  So, good price, good size, interesting shape, great color, what more could I ask for!

PS.  I haven't posted any pics of Kailyn for a while, she's 9mos now and is trying to walk!  She's talking, er babbling up a storm, saying Mama, DaDa and of course the standard no no! Pretty exciting and scary at the same time!  You can't wait to see them grow but on the other hand, I want her to stay a baby just a little longer!  We are having so much fun with her, she's such a sweet, happy little girl.  I could go on and on, but won't, here's a few photos!  (whoops! got a little carried away)!!

Are you kidding me??? Why wasn't I shopping with you when you found this?? I am ready to come to Nashville! Adorable, and very healthy baby girl! She looks a lot like grandma.

Oh you are just having so much fun, aren't you? The two best things ... a granddaughter and the perfect vintage deal. LOVE the "thingy" - I can't believe you practically got it for free!. My sister and I were driving up to the fabric store the other day to get some embellishments for a party we are styling this weekend and on the side of the road was the cutest OLD chair with the FREE sign attached. We scooped it up and it is already painted and re-upolstered. Now we have the bug!

The table might be an old stenographer's table. I love its chippy look and perfect styling with the sewing drawers. Also perfect is your daughter who is adorable.

I'd like to pinch those cute chubby cheeks! She is just adorable. And her dress in the last photo...too cute!!

I love your vintage thingie. It looks like it could have been the base of a typewriter stand or a hospital table.

I'm a grandma, too - Bernardo a 3months baby boy, sooo beautiful, with the prettiest blue eyes I've ever seen (of course, he's my first grandson).

Thank you for your comments, love to know you're visiting lus.
Have a happy weekend.

What a sweet little girl you have and all the fun of baby life and times to enjoy. Treasure the moments... and that cool cart/table. I'm loving that thing. Don't let me near it or it might roll away in the direction of my house.

I LOVE that little cart!
I got an old type cart for $1.50 last spring that I use for a nightstand on my husband's side of the bed - perfect for the narrow space there.
Sweet baby girl, too. :)

Hello...
I read your comment at Tina's "What We Keep"
You mentioned you fixed your No Reply Comment issue.
How did you do that?
I constantly get bloggers telling me to fix that issue.
Yet, I tried and tried and it did not work for me.

Would you help me out and give me some tips? Thank you so much!

Sandy
