Are You a Swifty.....

Well we are!!  In case you don't know what that is, (I can't imagine), that means you are a Taylor Swift fan.
Both my daughter and I are BIG fans, we love her!  We first heard her about 4 yrs ago when her first song came out,  Tim Magraw, when she was 15.  She is adorable and writes all her own music which she's been doing since she was about 11, she turns 21 in Dec. All her songs are about things she has experienced, look out you boys who have done her wrong, you WILL be in a song!  Now, some of you may think she's to young to relate to us "older" or should I say more "mature" women, but if you listen to her songs,  they are all about real life, and experiences we have all gone through!  Haven't we all been done wrong by some guy, haven't we all had that person  we thought was our friend only to find out not, and haven't we all fallen madly in love?  Well, that's what she writes about.  She has a wonderful family base and is a fabulous role model for girls of any age.   A couple of weeks ago she played the Bridgestone Arena here in Nashville and I took my daughter Kate for a early 20th birthday present.  It was so much fun, she puts on a great show!  I managed to get a few photos, and got a couple off her web site.

These are some of the things we saw walking to the arena

The signature building in Nashville known as the "Batman Building"

These next 2 photos are for you dog lovers out there

Happy early birthday #20 Kate!

Till next time.....
Rebecca

Your daughter is beautiful! I took my son and his girlfriend to this concert too. I dropped them off and hung out at Spaghetti Factory since I didn't have a ticket :) If you are at the Flea Market next weekend stop by and say hello. This time we are in Shed #5 a/k/a The Mule Barn.

Your daughter is beautiful! Fun to see the pictures of Nahville--reminds me of visiting my son there. I saw Taylor Swift on a talk show, Letterman maybe? and was impressed with how poised and centered and smart and funny she was.

Oh what a gorgeous daughter you have. Your pictures were very good so clear and the coloring. Not to mention you made Nashville proud.

What a great time! You got some terrific pictures at the concert, if you took those, do they allow you to take pictures? I enjoy her music as well, she has a wonderful way of expressing herself in her music. Happy Birthday to your daughter, I hope all her wishes come true!

Hi Rebecca! Your daughter is so pretty, it's always so fun to go out with your grown kids and enjoy things like this with them! I absoulutely LOVE Nashville, was there in February and spent two great nights downtown, what a cool city. You are lucky to have it so close to take advantage of that awesome music scene they have!

My son has just got back from a US trip that included Nashville and he mentioned he just missed Taylor Swift. It's always been one of my favourite US cities - my son has fallen in love with the town and can't wait to return!

Your daughter is a stunner!
