Flea Fun......

I went to the flea the a couple of weeks ago, there was lots of fun and fabulous things as usual!  Some great white things, and a lot of cool red stuff.   In a previous post, I showed you some of the things Teresa and Tonia took home with them.  Of course there were a couple of things I couldn't resist, a very cool vintage suitcase, (like I need another one), and 2 vintage books.  It was sooo hot, but fun.  Teresa, Tonia, my BF Sherry all managed to stay looking cool and collected while I ended up looking like a hot mess! Frizzy hair, runny makeup, you name it, not a pretty sight!  I guess I didn't scare them enough to for them to high tale it out of there!  Here are some of the things we saw and  left behind, and of course, they were all quite thrifty!

This sled was the last photo I snapped on the way out. Once I down loaded it on the computer
I couldn't believe I didn't buy it! If you look closely, it has both dogs and a horse and rider painted on it, and it is my color, RED!  Oh well, maybe it will be back next month!
For now, it's the one that got away!

This is my new suitcase, don't you just love the dark brown color?  It even has the old luggage tag!
Best of all, it was only $10.00!

I'm parting at:

Till next time......

Where was I when you found this sled???? I don't remember seeing it! Oh well, I LOVE mine and can't wait until Christmas to decorate with it. Love everything that I got! Hubby and I went flea-ing this week-end. Came away with a few good finds. I sent you a text because I was so excited :) but I haven't even taken the time to take pics yet. Enough rambling on my end, have a great week. Hope it is not as hot there as it is here. Heat index here 114!

Oh, makes me want to go to the flea market so bad. Hopefully we will get a trip up this fall and the temps will be cooler by then. Love the suitcase and how you displayed with it. Don't ya just hate it to see something and get home and wish you had gotten it? I did that not long ago with an ol sewing box on stand. Stood right there and talked myself out of it., and when I went back it had already gone home with someone else. Have a great day.
