A Horse is a Horse of Course........

I thought I'd share one of my favorite design books with you.  It's called Equestrian Style, by Vicky Moon, and shows beautiful rooms decorated with wonderful equestrian inspired elements along with all the different aspects of  the sports involving horses such as racing, polo, hunting, etc.  The photos in the book are wonderful.  Below is a sampling of some of my favorites.  ( Sorry about the glare on  the photos I took of the pages, but I think you will get the idea)!

Spelling Bee.......

Sunday, Wanda and I went to one of our favorite antiques malls, The Livery Stable, in Bell Buckle, TN, and found these fabulous vintage type set letters.  We had a lot of fun thinking up words and trying to find the letters to spell them out!  These are the ones I came home with!

Isn't the patina wonderful!

Finally........Spring!

After all the rain and tornado warnings, I think Spring has arrived for real!  It's going to be in the 70's today, go up to 80 over the weekend and then back to the 70's for most of next week!  Hooray!!!!

Ralph Who........

Ralph, I have to confess, I love everything about you! I could wear only your cloths, walk around in your shoes, carry your bags,  live with all your furniture and home accessories, and sleep under your sheets and blankets.  And, to top it off, you only get better and better with age!  Lets start with purses and shoes and accessories!

 

I love these heels, the color, so simple and classic,

I would so wear these with a pair of wool slacks and jacket
