Time and Books.......

Books have always been a love of mine and I have a tendency to keep every one I've ever owned!  There are the ones I like to read, thrillers, some spooky Dean Koontz, lots of design books, and the ones I had as a child.  Then there are the vintage books I like to collect, because of the look of the cover, title, or color.  Now, my new favorite thing to collect is clocks with dark faces, looove them!  It doesn't matter if they work or not, I really like how they are all stopped at different times.  All my vintage books were under $5.00 each  and my clocks were under $10.00 each.

Clocks and books = time to read!

Till next time......

  11. I love those old books! I was at a yard sale early this summer and found a bunch of them for almost nothing! I haven't found a place to display them yet, but that could be because our entire house is a wreck right now! :o)

Lexie will be taking lessons at Pinnacle Stables in Christiana. Her first 8 lessons will teach her the basics. Then she can move on and learn the different styles of riding. Holly, her teacher, said it normally takes the girls about a year to determine which way they want to mainly ride and what things they want to compete in, so we're probably a while away from knowing what she will end up doing regularly, but they can teach her all styles at this place!
